Cautiously....

I say I'm down another pound. Just the one, and I'm cautious about it because I feel like I might balloon up again tomorrow. But if that happens, I'll lose it back. Because I am on a JOUNREY, dangit! :D

Weight: 171 BMI: 25.2 (so close to being healthy!)

My goal is to be a healthy weight by Wednesday, March 7th. That's 3 pounds. I can do it!! :D

A Plan:

I really need to start exercising again.

Now, hear me out: the reason I stopped exercising had more to do with lack of time than lack of desire/willpower. I get up every day at 6:30 and start homework/get ready for class (depending on the day) and our gym opens at 6, so that would be twenty minutes at best, since it takes 10 minutes to walk back.

And evenings? Forget it. Waaaay too much to do.

So here's my plan: since technically I don't NEED to start homework at 6:30 on M/W/F, I may start getting up at 5:30 or so to go to the gym. Now, I'm not sure it'll happen, since sleep is way more important to me than working out. I start next week.

Annnnd...

I'm up. Really, I could not stop eating yesterday. I'm up a pound, which I should be able to lose today, but I was hoping to be down to 172 by sunday, and I don't think that's going to happen...

Well, here's hoping. :)

Down Another Pound!

It's very hard for me to remember to post regularly on this blog. I have another blog elsewhere, where I post (semi) regularly, but this one is more private. See, I've struggled with my weight for a long time. For the past three years, I've constantly been trying to lose weight. And it's worked fairly well - I'm sixty pounds lighter than I was graduating high school. 

But I know I can lose more! I'm not at a healthy weight yet, but I will be. I don't have it all figured out yet, but I will soon. I mess up and binge occasionally, but I'll learn not to. There's so much left to do!

My goal, by the end of the quarter, is to get down to 166, twenty pounds down from the beginning of the quarter. I have three weeks left in the quarter, not counting finals. That's 7 pounds in 21 days, or a third of a pound per day. I think it's possible. Let's see, shall we?

Down to 175!

Sweet! I jumped up over the weekend, but I've been eating less for the last few days and running around a lot more, so I'm down a few pounds. Awesome!
Next: Cut Down the Desserts - seriously, I love cookies way too much

This is it! My first ever post. Let me introduce myself:

I am a student, I live in Oregon, and I'm really interested in finally, FINALLY losing all this weight.

I am 5"9, 178 pounds, which is at 26.3 BMI.
My goal (for now) is 165 pounds  (25.5 BMI) by June 15th. By December 31, I want to be 150 pounds (22.1 BMI). Do you want to join me on this journey? 28 pounds in over 10 months - should be doable, right? Baby steps!

As for what I'm eating today, I think it's mainly just going to be tea and water. I know, eating is good for you, but I ate a crazy amount this weekend. So today is a 'sorry' day. :)
